STEPHEN McCOLE, JOEY FRISK
Stephen started in community theatre over 14 years ago. His first roles were with Castlemilk Peoples Theatre and Hopscotch Theatre Company. He has numerous film and television credits including Rushmore, Band Of Brothers, My Name Is Joe, Complicity, Last Orders, Orphans directed by Peter Mullan, winner of nine international awards and The Magdeline Sisters also directed by Peter Mullan.
JUSTIN MOLOTNIKOV, WRITER / DIRECTOR – SYNCHRONICITY FILMS
Justin Molotnikov is an award-winning filmmaker based in Scotland. He started out making short films 12 years ago that have played at film festivals worldwide, Panfried (funded by UK Film Council, Scottish Screen and STV) and Poached (funded by BBC Scotland and Scottish Screen). He and his work have picked an impressive collection of awards and/or nominations that include – BAFTA, Scottish BAFTA, RTS, Celtic Film and TV Festival, Directors Guild of GB, FUJI film award, Belfort Film Festival, Kingussie Film Festival and Banff International TV festival.
CLAIRE MUNDELL, PRODUCER – SYNCHRONICITY FILMS
An award-winning producer with extensive experience in network television, ‘Crying with Laughter’ is Claire’s first feature film. As Lead producer on the project, Claire creatively developed it from early stages with Justin, securing initial development funding from Scottish Screen to create a story document and teaser reel before forming a co-production with Wellington Films and securing production funding from Scottish Screen, EM Media and BBC Scotland.
RACHEL ROBEY & ALASTAIR CLARK, PRODUCERS – WELLINGTON FILMS
Wellington Films was founded in 2000 by producers Rachel Robey and Alastair Clark. Their BAFTA nominated debut feature, London to Brighton earned them the Best Achievement in Production award at the 2006 British Independent Film Awards and a nomination at the London Critics Circle Film Awards for British Film Producers of the Year. London to Brighton was released to widespread critical acclaim by Vertigo Films, and earned director Paul Andrew Williams a BAFTA nomination for the Carl Foreman Award.
